LIVERPOOL ambassadors Ian Rush and Robbie Fowler have been busy hosting community events and meeting sponsors over the past fortnight in North America.

The appearances of the legendary duo, together with the club’s team of coaches, have been a huge hit – delighting supporters across the continent.

Fowler is looking to move into a coaching career but he still hopes to find a club in England to play for this season.

And the former Reds striker proved he still has plenty to offer during a training match between Liverpool’s staff and a Harvard XI.

After boss Brendan Rodgers laid on an equaliser for head of fitness & conditioning Darren Burgess, Harvard restored their advantage.

However, typically, Fowler had the final word – winning and then converting a penalty.
