THE nephew of Everton manager David Moyes is on trial at Crewe Alex.
Ewan Moyes, 20, is a defender currently on loan at Brechin from Scottish Premier outfit Hibernian.
The strapping centre-half will play in an Alex reserves game at Blackburn today (Tuesday).
He is expected to be allowed to leave Hibs at the end of the season.
David Moyes made over 550 league appearances as a centre half in a playing career that began with Celtic and ended with Preston North End,
A striker, from non-league Trafford, is also expected to play for the Railwaymen today.
