Who's playing?

Eastleigh v Chester FC – Vanarama National League.

When and where?

Saturday, March 12 (3pm) at the Silverlake Stadium, Eastleigh, Hampshire, SO50 9HT.

Any team news?

Luke George will likely be an absentee for the trip to Hampshire but club skipper Ian Sharps could be in contention for a place on the bench after missing the last two games following a pulled hamstring sustained in the 1-0 home defeat by Tranmere Rovers.

Blues boss Steve Burr will probably stick with the starting XI that so ruthlessly demolished Aldershot Town 8-2 in midweek , with four-goal hero James Alabi and two-goal Ross Hannah set to lead the line once more.

Sam Hughes' superb recent form should see him keep his place in the starting line-up.

What has Steve Burr had to say about it?

The Blues manager said: "We've got to look at what we do at the weekend because the pitch is heavy down at Eastleigh. Do we go with two wingers? Do we change things to go a bit more solid? But it would be very, very difficult to change things from the other night because the lads were excellent and we need to use that as a platform to kick on now.

"Wherever we go, whether it's one of the big spenders like Eastleigh or clubs similar to ourselves, we'll always go to try and win.

"With the resources Eastleigh have got they've been able to bring Matt Tubbs in, they've got James Constable, the boy Jamie Turley at the back, Jai Reason; they've got a lot of players who can handle this level on a regular basis and they've showed that."

Tell me about Eastleigh...

Boasting one of the National League's largest budgets, Eastleigh find themselves outside the play-off race approaching the business end of the season.

The Spitfires, who enjoyed a run to the third round of the FA Cup earlier this season before being overcome by Bolton Wanderers in a replay, currently sit ninth in the league and are five points off the pace.

Manager Chris Todd's side have won two of their last three games to snap a run of four defeats that has seen them slip behind the promotion chasers.

Striker James Constable, who has built up a reputation as a potent finisher following spells with clubs including the likes of Oxford United and Shrewsbury Town, is their main source of goals, with the 31-year-old having bagged 18 so far this campaign.

What's their recent form been like?

WLWLLLLDDD

What happened the last time the two sides met?

Birthday boy Ben Heneghan headed the only goal of the game as Chester claimed a 1-0 success over the Spitfires at the Lookers Vauxhall Stadium on Saturday, September 19.

Seven days after one of the most abject displays of the season in the 2-0 loss to Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park, the Blues were a different side and proved full value for their success.

Just days after the defeat to Chester, Eastleigh boss Richard Hill resigned from his position and claimed the club would benefit from a 'fresh outlook'.

What are the match odds (SkyBet)?

Eastleigh 3/4, Draw 11/4, Chester 16/5.

What's the weather expected to be like (Met Office)?

Overcast with a chance of rain with temperatures of around 8°C.
