THERE was no stopping Ellesmere's Adam Davies as he struck four times to spark his side to a 7-3 victory over SCFC in the Holiday Inn Ellesmere Port Sunday League's Warwick Cup second round.

Rob Witkiss, Alan Williams and Mickey Smith added a goal apiece for good measure, with Steve Hickson (2) and Darren Evans in reply for the losers.

Brown Horse lost interest in the Castrol Challenge Cup second round after strikes from Ben Sherlock and Mark Evans steered RJS Sir Robert to a 2-1 triumph. John Roberts scored a consolation.

In the George Williamson Memorial Jubilee Challenge Cup third round, Octel AFC had too much in the tank for LPSC Straw-berry and romped home 8-0, courtesy of goals from Tony Ashton (2), Steve Salcedo (2), Carl Hodgers, Cameron Forster, Andy McKinney and Paul Fraser.

The goals flowed during a second round clash in the same competition with FC Merebrook getting the better of Phoenix by a 7-5 scoreline.
