CHESTER CITY have another opportunity to arrest their recent poor run of results this evening when they travel to York Street to face Boston United.

City have created an unwanted club record recently by losing 10 of their last 11 Coca-Cola League Two outings, the latest setback coming last Saturday when they suffered a 2-1 reversal against the Division's bottom club Stock-port County.

However, City manager Keith Curle saw some positive signs in the match.

"We dominated that game for long periods, and created enough chances to have won two matches, but yet again it was careless errors that let us down," he said.

"We lost narrowly to Boston in the reverse fixture last month and if we can return to the ruthlessness that we showed in the beginning of the season then there is no reason why we can't take all three points from this match."

Curle continued: "The play-ers are showing great positivity in training, we just have to transfer that confidence and positive attitude to the match day situation and we will be okay.

"New signing Paul Tait showed up well in his debut on Saturday, and he gives us a strength upfront that we have lacked in the last few matches, so hopefully we can capitalise on the chances his presence creates."

Chester welcome back Tom Curtis to the squad this evening, the veteran midfielder has been missing for the past two games because of suspension.

Maltese international central defender Luke Dimech, who withdrew from the game against Stockport because of a sore throat, could also return to the squad.
