CITY Bar ran riot in the Chester and District FA Senior Cup on Saturday, beating Bank of Scotland 6-1 away from home in the second round.

Dave Boyle's solitary strike was not enough as Danny McGloughlin, James Davies and Blake Williams each scored twice for City.

In the Premier Division, the only game to survive the weather was Chester Nomads 2nds against Highfield Athletic. But Chester must have wished it hadn't as Scott Chard (2) and Scott Broadbent scored to give Highfield a 3-1 win. Sean Lee replied for Chester.

In the Chris Courtney Williams-Tom Gerraghty Memorial Trophy Group A, Parkgate beat Robin Hood 3-0 with goals from James Warring (2) and Andy Marr.

In Group B, Cestrian Alex just edged out Chester Nomads 3rds 2-1 thanks to the scoring prowess of two-goal Adi Gough. Ricky Bennett scored for Nomads.
