CHESTER CITY will be hoping to extend their unbeaten Nationwide Conference run to 17 matches tomorrow, when they entertain Margate at the Deva Stadium.

City won the reversed fixture at the Hover-speed Stadium in September, when goals from Darren Stamp and Jon Brady earned the League leaders a hard fought 2-1 victory.

Assistant manager Steve Bleasdale is anticipating a hard game: "They gave us a tough match down there, and we know we will have an equally hard game up here.

"We will put the disappointing second half performance from last Tuesday behind us, and approach the game against Margate in a positive frame of mind."

Chester have doubts surrounding the fitness of central defenders Carl Ruffer and Phil Bolland, who are both suffering from ankle injuries, while Margate are without their captain and former Deva Stadium trialist Sam Sodje, who is serving a one match suspension.
