Chester FC have finalised their pre-season fixtures with a game against League One champions Wigan Athletic.
The Latics, who will be a Championship club in 2016-17, will visit the Lookers Vauxhall Stadium on Wednesday, July 13 (7.45pm).
Wigan suffered relegation in 2014-15 but bounced back to the second tier at the first attempt, finishing two points above runners-up Burton Albion.
Gary Caldwell's side will return to training at the club's new base on June 23 before flying to Portugal for a warm weather training camp in early July.
The first match back in the UK will be the trip to Chester so Caldwell is likely to field a strong line-up for the game.
Blues legend Graham Barrow, who served the club with distinction as player and manager, now acts as assistant to former Scotland international Caldwell.
Chester's pre-season campaign begins with a visit Cheshire League side Sandbach United on Saturday, July 9, before the game against Wigan.
Jon McCarthy's side take on Neil Young's Altrincham at Moss Lane the following Saturday (July 16) and entertain a Bolton Wanderers XI on Wednesday, July 20.
The Blues then travel to Evo-Stik League Premier Division outfit Marine on Saturday, July 23, and visit Nantwich Town on Tuesday, July 26.
League One side Port Vale will visit the Blues on Saturday, July 30, before Premier League new boys Burnley send an under-21s team to provide the opposition for the final pre-season game on Tuesday, August 2.
