This Sunday sees Chester FC host Tranmere Rovers (12 noon kick-off) in a competitive league encounter for the first time in almost 25 years.
It's only a matter of months since the two renewed acquaintances in the league, with Rovers running out 2-0 winners on September 15 last year at Prenton Park. But you would have to trawl back to March 23, 1991, to find the last time Chester welcomed a visiting Rovers side.
That game, where Rovers ran out 2-0 winners, took place at Moss Rose during Chester's exile in Macclesfield, so this weekend's clash will be the first meeting of the two sides in a league clash at the Lookers Vauxhall Stadium, Chester's home since 1992.
