CHESTER FC have announced an 18-month sponsorship deal with Swansway Chester.

The agreement will see the Sealand Road-based Peugeot dealership take over the naming rights of the south stand and get involved with the fan-owned club’s community work.

Blues chief executive Pat Cluskey said: “Swansway has made it quite clear that this is only the start of the partnership and hope that it will develop into a long-term relationship which will be of mutual benefit to both parties.

“They have been pleased with the progress the club has made since its inception, both on and off the pitch, and feel that an association with the Blues is a great way to develop their business in Chester and the surrounding areas, while showing their commitment to the community in which they are based.”

The south stand will now be known as the ‘Swansway Chester Stand’.

Swansway Chester’s Andrew Wakelin said: “As a family owned and run business, we like to get involved with the local communities we serve and Chester FC is a perfect partner for us, with its family feel and determination to be the best.”

Swansway Chester is also looking to provide special offers to City Fans United members.
