THE man who spearheaded Chester FC’s charge to the league title will be passing on his skills to youngsters through the summer.

The Michael Wilde Soccer School is open to all children aged from six to 15. The three-day courses will be staged across the school holidays at Blacon High School, with six different weeks to pick from.

Hotshot Wilde, a Uefa-qualified coach and Chester’s leading scorer last season, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for children of all ages to take part and develop their football skills in a fun, professional, action-packed soccer school.

“Who knows, we might even discover Chester FC’s next big thing!”

There will be the opportunity to meet and be coached by some of Wilde’s Chester team-mates, while it is hoped that all those who sign up be will given the chance to play in a mini-tournament staged at the Exacta Stadium later this year.

Youngsters will also be given free tickets for a Chester match, T-shirts, a certificate and medals.

A place on the three-day course costs £50 per child (£45 for Junior Blues). The first one begins on July 26, with the final session starting on August 30.
