ADMISSION has been halved for Chester FC’s first home game of the season.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Exacta Stadium the Blues have brought down entrance fees for next Wednesday’s visit of Workington (7.45pm) to £7 for adults – the price fans paid to watch Chester City’s first game at the ground – and £5 for concessions.

Children will get in for £3.

The board have also moved to compensate adult and concession season-ticket holders.

They are eligible to a £5 discount in the club shop, valid until September 30 on production of voucher one from their season ticket book, and will be given the chance to renew their season tickets for the 2013-14 campaign at ‘early bird’ rates.

Chester’s maiden match at the Bumpers Lane stadium was against Stockport County on August 25, 1992.

Chester FC are running a soccer school for children 16 and under at Blacon High School from Monday to Wednesday next week.

Coaches include Blues stars Levi Mackin and Marc Williams.

Cost per child is £45 or £40 for Junior Blues members. To book call 01244 371 376 or email bookings@chesterfc.com.

The Friday Night Football Show on Dee 106.3 returns at 6pm tomorrow.
