Chester FC players paid a visit to the Countess of Chester Hospital as part of the annual Big Yellow Self Storage Toy Appeal.

The Blues squad and manager Steve Burr donned festive Santa Claus costumes and delivered toys donated to the appeal by Blues fans over the past month.

The Toy Appeal is now in its 10 year and is aims to bring some festive cheer to underprivileged children and families on Christmas Day.

Blues fans have been donating toys to the appeal for the past month and Saturday's home game with Torquay United has been designated as a 'bring a gift' day, and fans are urged to buy an extra present to donate when they are out doing their Christmas shopping.

The Blues squad also paid a visit to the University of Chester's Parkgate Road campus to help promote the message of road safety alongside Cheshire Constabulary.
