Steve Burr and the Chester FC squad have marked the launch of the revamped Total Fitness Chester health club.
The Blues are regular users of the Liverpool Road club, which has been given a complete makeover of the gym floor and pool. The gym equipment has been replaced and upgraded, and the poolside area has been retiled and relined.
The Total Fitness Chester team dressed as superheroes for the launch and completed challenges suggested via the club's Facebook page to raise money for Cancer Research.
Chester boss Burr said: "The whole team is really excited to get in and start training on the fantastic new equipment, it's a great family atmosphere in the gym and we really value the support from Total Fitness."
Total Fitness Chester is celebrating its makeover throughout the week with disco spin classes, games, competitions, on the spot classes, gym challenges and prizes for members.
Richard Milne, general manager of Total Fitness Chester, said: "We're really pleased to offer this brand new state of the art equipment to our members.
"We're embracing the functional training style with equipment including gym rings, monkey bars, battle ropes and prowlers while upgrading the more traditional cardio and strength kit.
"If you're not a member yet you are welcome to pop in for free over the next two weeks to try it out."
