Free children's tickets are available for this weekend's crucial game between Chester FC and Welling United.

Last month hundreds of youngsters snapped up free tickets to watch the Blues take on Bromley and the fan-owned club will again be opening up the South Stand for families, schools, clubs and community groups.

Chester are involved in a battle at the wrong end of the National League and with Welling already relegated, the match has to be considered a must-win for the hosts, who last week dismissed Steve Burr as manager .

Caretaker boss Jon McCarthy, club captain Ian Sharps and the rest of the squad need the backing of a big crowd to help them move clear of the bottom four.

Chester FC Community Trust is coordinating the offer and the club is hopeful lots of children will attend the game, packing out the South Stand and cheering the team on to a much-needed three points.

In order to help ensure children are supervised, one adult per three youngsters will receive a free ticket. Additional adult tickets are available at a reduced rate of £10 each.
