CHESTER FC's Cheshire Senior Cup second-round tie at home to Stockport Sports tonight (January 15) has been postponed.
A morning pitch inspection deemed the Exacta Stadium surface unplayable.
There is currently standing water on the pitch and with temperatures in Chester set to plunge below freezing this afternoon, the clash with North West Counties outfit Stockport was called off.
A new date has yet to be arranged.
