AN online radio programme dedicated to all things Chester FC has hit the net, writes Danny Elliott.

The Seals Podcast combines interviews with players, staff and legends of the club with supporter interaction to create a package that no true blue will want to miss.

Huntington-based Blues fan Dan Burns, the show’s creator and presenter, said: “I wanted to bring something to the club and podcasts are taking off. It’s a great way to share information, but also have fun and we wanted to do something different for Chester.”

The second episode of the fortnightly magazine-style show, which has been launched by the club in association with community radio station Lache FM, will be available to download from tomorrow.

The first episode is proving to be a terrific success with more than 700 people downloading it.

City Fans United member Dan, 22, said: “The support is there and I feel people will be interested because it’s just something that’s a niche area.

“This can be as big as people want it to be. We’ll go bigger and longer if people want us to. We have some big surprises in store, which obviously we’re wanting to keep under wraps, but it’ll be great.”
