CHESTER FC will be out to ‘right the wrongs’ of their disappointing FA Trophy draw with Worksop Town this evening.

The Blues threw away a two-goal lead in Saturday’s initial tie between the teams.

Their second-half collapse means they have to travel to Nottinghamshire tonight for a replay at Worksop’s Sandy Lane home (7.45pm).

Chester boss Neil Young said: “We know Worksop are a good team who are hard to break down but we must not forget we could have been three or four up by half-time on Saturday.

“We didn’t press home our advantage but we shouldn’t go overboard. We’re a very good team and we know there’s a home tie waiting for us in the next round if we win.

“We’ve got to go out there and try and put right the wrongs of our second-half performance on Saturday.”

The winners of the third qualifying round replay will host King’s Lynn Town in the first round proper on Saturday, November 24.

Young will once again be without the injured Luke Denson and Matty McGinn as well as the cup-tied Danny Williams.

But he is hopeful Wes Baynes and Scott Brown will return after illness.
