THE Blues have won over a whole host of new fans – from Down Under!

A touring squad of futsal players from Australia paid two visits to the Exacta Stadium in the space of a week.

Futsal is a small-sided form of football, played on a smaller pitch and mainly indoors.

The Australian under 16s squad – made up of two girls’ teams and one boys’ team – are currently on a tour of England and they took in Chester’s recent home match against Bradford Park Avenue after playing at the nearby Goals Soccer Centre.

They returned to the Exacta Stadium on Monday and were given a guided tour by Blues chief executive Pat Cluskey.

Some of the players – who are drawn from all corners of Australia – bought Chester shirts and requested City Fans United membership forms.
