NEW Frodsham Athletic signing Adam Collins helped himself to an amazing eight goals as the unstoppable Chester & District Sunday League Abbey Taxis Section B leaders won 16-3 at home Red Door.

Top scorer Kevin Hughes (4), Sean Mackin (3) and Carl Kennedy completed the scoring for Frodsham.

Goalkeeper Jamie Davies was the star the show as Northgate Village (Anthony Monaco 2, Sean Dillon) climbed off the bottom of the table by winning 3-2 at home to Spital Vaults (Danny Rose, Andrew Austin).

Northgate were replaced at the foot by Blacon Youth after they lost 3-2 at home to Dee Rangers (Dan Brownley, Angelo Deponeo, John Harrison).

AFC Lock Vaults (Aaron Hinchcliffe 3, James Price, Neil Norris, Ashley Watling) won 6-1 at home to a depleted St Theresa’s (Gary Jones).

There were away victories for Waverton (Danny Cavendish 3, George Farrell), 4-1 over FC Hickory’s, and Ferry Athletic (Tommy Booth, Daz Jones, Matty Tarbuck), 3-1 over Tattenhall.

It is as you were at the top of Concorde Trophies Section A after Saltney Social Club (Lee Guirado, Jordan O’Brien, Nathan Jones) hung on for a 3-2 success at FC Blacon and second-placed Vicars Cross Dynamos (Todd Reid, Tom Fellows, Matty Pierce, Liam Gough, Nathan Freeman) delivered a 5-0 win at FC Bull & Stirrup.

Ryan McGrery got the only goal of the game as Saltney Ferry won 1-0 at home to AFC Lache to move up to third.

Both sides missed penalties.

Tarvin Rex (Neil Astbury 2, Shaun Page) triumphed 3-1 at Custom House.

Highfield Athletic (Paul Mackin, Sam Henry, Jack Hart, Aaron Price) are also looking up after their 4-1 victory at Upton Youth Centre.

Stand-in goalkeeper Stephen Sandbach was Highfield’s man of the match.
