KELSALL returned to winning ways in the Chester & District League Queensferry Sports Premier Division on Saturday with a 4-2 home victory over Highfield Athletic.

Neil Ashbury scored all of Kelsall’s goals with Matty Cross and Chris Larson reducing the arrears.

Railway Athletic (Adam Newbolt 2, James Harrison, Danny Warren, Nick Brookman) remain four points behind Kelsall in second after a 5-0 home win over Sutton Way Villa.

Duddon United (Rob Edge, Rob Lawton) triumphed 2-1 at home to Barrow Athletic but Frodsham Vets lost 2-0 at Rangers Breaks.

A Tim Benge 40-yarder and Amir Ahmadi (2), Adi Gough and Ryan Galloway strikes ensured Cestrian Alex ran out 5-1 winners at home to Lodge Bar in Moreton Electrical Wholesalers Division Two.

Chester Celtic (Joe Flynn) drew 1-1 at home to Peacock 09 (Tom Fellows) as Raby Villa won 4-1 at Newton Bears (John Dowlin). Waggon & Horses Reserves (Lee King Magee, Sam Henry, Danny Barnes) were 4-2 winners at Uberlube.

Lache (Dale Gilmartin 3, Liam McGovern) edged a Link Up Division Three thriller at home to Groves Celtic 4-3.

Improving Boughton Athletic were 5-3 victors at Peacock 09 Reserves (James Simpson 3), but Barrow Athletic Reserves and Crossway Reserves (Daz Demetrius) were beaten 5-1 at Barcode Athletic and at home to Newton Wirral respectively.
