HELSBY Reserves won 8-1 at Boughton Athletic (Rick Hughes) on Saturday to move six points clear at the top of Chester & District League Football Bootique Division Two.

Mark Hobson (4), Lee Guirado, Luke Martin, James McGrane and Alex Hale did the damage for Helsby, who are one of only three teams in the league to have made a 100% winning start to the season.

Lodge Bar moved up to seventh with a 1-0 victory at Rangers Breaks.

In Olympic Trophies Division One, leaders Uberlube (Mathew Elson, Graham Dodd) triumphed 2-1 at Orange Athletic while Adi Gough scored all of Cestrian Alex’s goals in their 4-0 home win over Hoole Rangers Reserves.

In the Queensferry Sports Premier Division, Waggon & Horses (Sam Henry 2, Danny Davies 2, James Henry, Lee King-McGee) enjoyed a morale-boosting 6-0 success at home to Raby Villa as Greyhound drew 0-0 at Shaftesbury Youth Club.

And in Link Up Division Three, Chester Albion were thrashed 14-2 at Bronze Social.

Warren Kelly hit a hat-trick as Lache recorded a superb 3-0 victory at Levers Bushell Athletic in the Dee 106.3 League Cup first round.

Ashton (Graham Bunting 2, Lee Bower, Tom Vicars) won 4-2 at home to Halfwayhouse Celtic and Kelsall (Sean Page 3, Adam Crimes, Tom Masterson) ran out 5-2 winners at Chester Celtic.

Newton Athletic (Luke Diamond, Lee Williamson) fell 3-2 at home to Whitby Athletic and Chester Nomads 3rds are also out after they went down 4-3 at home to Kelma.

In-form Deva Athletic (Liam Bradford, Andy Cunnerly) won 2-1 at Hooton Arms in the Cayzer Shield.

Blacon Youth Club Reserves also progressed to the second round with a 3-2 win at Springview but Peacock 09 (Aaron Hinchcliffe) and Grosvenor Arms suffered 3-1 and 6-0 home losses to Birkenhead Town and Orange Athletic 2nds respectively.
