ST Joseph's kept the Mid Cheshire Sunday League championship race very much alive by winning a seven-goal thriller against rivals Middlewich Town Supporters.

Joey Roberts and Stuart Tulloch, team-mates in Town's Saturday Mid Cheshire League side, scored a brace for each side.

It was a game St Joseph's had to win.

Had the result been reversed then Middlewich would have been eight clear of them, seven ahead of Saxon's. But now four points covers the three front runners.

Saxon's and Middlewich clash this weekend.
