CHAMPIONS Middlewich Town chalked up two 3-0 wins in four days at Seddon Street.

Rylands were their victims on Wednesday with Stuart Tulloch (2) and Joey Roberts the marksmen and they celebrated receiving the championship trophy on Saturday by beating Gamesley.

Mike Brandon, Craig Stevens and Steve Warburton were on the mark in the second half.

BARNTON, defeated 3-0 at home by Knutsford in midweek, bounced back to win 2-1 against Crosfields at home.

They trailed until the hour mark when Liam McDonald finished a flowing move and squandered more chances before Andy Norton netted the injury-time winner.

WITTON RESERVES crashed 4-2 at home to Woodley though in midweek they beat Poynton 2-0.

LOSTOCK GRALAM went down 3-1 at Monk, Paul Lightfoot getting on the scoresheet.

MIDDLEWICH RES followed a 4-2 win at Styal with a 2-1 defeat at Garswood.

n CUDDINGTON moved nearer the second promotion slot in the First Division of the Crewe & District League with a 3-2 win at Sand-bach Town.

John Stone (2) and Mike Steadman were the Cuddington scorers as the Norley Road men stayed two points ahead of Kidsgrove Carpets, who won 4-1 at Winnington Avenue Reserves (Mike Bell) and have two games in hand.
