WITH the end of the season finally in sight Winsford at last suffered an away defeat on Wednesday.
Paul Ashton put the home side in front in 17 minutes and 50 more passed before United drew level, Dave Harper scoring on the volley.
Ian Knapman made it 2-1 and Scott Weir levelled again with 10 minute to go. A last-minute counter-attack produced the winner for Philip Edgehill.
