BRETTON Super Saints wrapped up the Under 11 title in style.

They enjoyed a 10-0 victory over Newton Athletic to clinch top spot. Winning 4-0 at the break, Saints went out in the second half knowing the title was in the bag.

Chester Nomads Colts were 10-4 winners over Malpas and District.

Goals from man-of-the-match Callum Hopwood, Peter O'Brien, Ted Kaye, Matthew Jones, Aaron Rafferty and Thomas Thompson secured the points for the Nomads.

In the U12 division, the destination of the league title is firmly in the hands of Boughton after they defeated Upton Blacks 1-0 in a top-of-the-table clash.

The game was a perfect advert for junior league football, with both teams showing great courage and determination.

Boughton netted the winner in the second half when Jye Finlay set up Matthew Wait.

A spirited Chester Nomads Colts team battled hard but went down 10-0 to Upton Lions, while Newton Athletic defeated Westminster Park 4-3.

In the U13 section, Upton ran out 5-2 winners over Malpas and District thanks to goals from Craig Bowyer, Dan Meadows, Adam Reeves (2) and Kyle King.

Matthew Groves was Upton's MoM. Waverton were pushed all the way by fellow title-chasers Bretton Super Saints, claiming a 3-2 win.

Goals from Harry Peel and Kai Wolff (2) handed the points to Waverton.

Forwards Liam McFadden (2), Mark Kelly (2) and Ben Stokes all found the net along with midfielders Shaun Arathoon and Matty Green to give Saughall a comfortable 8-0 victory over Blacon Youth.

Excellent performances came from Sam Tougher, Greg Dymod and Sam Patchitt but Colts' MoM was Jack Woodward.

Blacon's star man was Adam Davies. In the U14 division, Upton edged towards the title with a 4-1 victory over Waverton.

Jake Davies, Niall Peaker and Euan Oates (2) were the Upton marksmen.
