KEVIN Roberts has picked up an ankle injury that almost certainly rules him out of Chester City’s derby at Macclesfield Town on Saturday.

The teenager – a regular member of Bobby Williamson’s first-team squad this season – sustained the problem during Wednesday’s 4-2 reserve team victory at Carlisle.

His ankle is badly swollen and he could join James Vaughan and Chris Holroyd on the sidelines at Moss Rose.
