VAUXHALL Motors boss Carl Macauley has swooped for his third signing of the summer.

Macauley’s latest arrival is promising centre-back Callum Henry, who has moved from Blue Square Bet Premier side Forest Green Rovers.

The 21-year-old emerged through the youth system at Forest Green.

During the 2009/10 campaign, he was a regular at the heart of defence for Rovers’ reserve team and spent several months out on loan at Frome Town.

He subsequently went on loan to Evo-Stik League Southern Premier side Evesham United before being released by Forest Green at the end of last season.

Henry joins former AFC Fylde goalkeeper Zac Jones and ex-Liverpool youth Michael Burns as new signings at Motors.

In addition, a couple of familiar faces – Jonathan Egerton and Chris Noone – have re-signed for next season.

However, midfielder Mattie Burke has left to join Ashton United.

The first visitors are Wrexham on Saturday week (July 21).

Entrance for tomorrow’s match is £6 adults and £3 concessions.
