Blue Boys: Everton FC youngsters face testing away schedule

A STRING of away games presents Everton U18s with a chance to test their mettle.

The Blues travel to Blackburn, Bolton, Reading and then Norwich before they play at Finch Farm again, and Kevin Sheedy is looking forward to the challenge.

“We’ll be like the Harlem Globetrotters on the road for the time being,” he said. “They’re all difficult games, particularly the likes of Bolton and Blackburn who have a lot of Scousers at their academies and there’s a gritty, derby-style feel to those games.”
