SIX Liverpool fans set off from Hillsborough on Thursday to embark on a three-day 76-mile charity run to Anfield.
They are raising funds for the Hillsborough Family Support Group (HFSG) and the Hillsborough Justice Campaign (HJC) in advance of tomorrow’s 23rd anniversary of the tragedy.
The challenge is set to be completed today with the runners expected to be at Anfield for around 10.45am. Their run into the city will take them along Speke Boulevard (8.30/9am), Allerton Road (9/9.45am) and Queens Drive (9.45/10.45am).
It’s the brainchild of Dominic Williams and he has been joined on the run by Wesley Young, Chris Dale, Neil Mitchell, Earle Jackson and John Driscoll.
