BLACON YC have another chance to forget about their nightmare start to the season tomorrow as they enter the second round of the Pyke Cup.
Their travelling opponents are the current holders, Castrol Social, but Blacon may turn the pain of their pointless start to the season into inspiration against Mo Doyle’s Oilmen.
Last Saturday, Blacon again failed to get any points on the board as they went down 6-2 at home to Poulton Victoria. Niall Peaker and Clark Davies found the target for Blacon but, at the back, the Chester side were at the mercy of hot-shot Kevin Davies, who fired home four goals.
