Too much to do

A better performance for the second part of the second half but individual errors once again cost the Blues. Barrow, on balance, deserved the three points and Chester must now try and regroup for a tough trip to Boreham Wood on Saturday. They don’t get any easier.

Half time thoughts

If you can’t get the basics right then you are going to struggle. After doing well for the opening 35 minutes the Blues go in at the break 2-0 after a mad five minutes that saw the gift Barrow the lead and then fail to regroup and concede almost immediately after. The Blues have to come out on the front foot as they have looked to exposed at the back and you feel that unless they can show some mental fortitude then Barrow look a good bet to extend their lead. Flashes of good stuff from the Blues but those mistakes have cost Chester dear. You simply can not do that at this level. A huge 45 minutes await.
