A 12TH-MINUTE goal from Vauxhall's Cumiskey proved to be enough to earn the injury-hit Motormen another UniBond League Premier Division victory.

The visitors took the early lead following a free-kick on the left and Cumiskey smashed the loose ball into the roof of the net.

After the break, Cumiskey drew another fine save out of Bishop but on 65 minutes, the home side were awarded a penalty on an assistant's flag only for Arnold to put his spotkick wide. The same player then twice went close to making amends before Vauxhall's Fearns struck the bar with a fine shot, but by then, the points were already as good as theirs.

VAUXHALL: Dittmer, Spellman, McDermott, Robinson, Roberts, Porter, Nesbitt, Lawton, Burns, Tomlinson, Cumiskey. Subs: Macauley, Lynch, Griffiths.
