As far as memorable nights to be a Chester FC fan go, Monday, September 22, 2014 was pretty special.

Facing the old cross-border foe, Wrexham, Ben Heneghan etched himself in to Blues folklore when he fired home four minutes into injury time to seal a famous win in front of the BT Sport cameras.

The scenes that ensued following Heneghan's last-gasp winner will live long in the memory for Blues fans, who had feared the worst when Wrexham took an early lead when Blaine Hudson found the target in the second minute.

But after riding the storm in the opening half, Steve Burr's Blues side emerged with far more purpose and restored parity on 74 minutes when Craig Hobson deftly flicked home a John Rooney cross.

And just when everyone in the ground seemed to be settling for a share of the spoils, up popped Heneghan to find the bottom right of Daniel Bachmann's goal to cue delirium in the stands and put the icing on what had been an explosive and action-packed derby.
