RUNCORN'S RAOW stand between Stanley Arms and glory in the Halton Bayer Cricket League President's Cup.

Stanley, runners-up in this knockout competition for Division One teams last summer, disposed of Widnes Recs Extras in a low-scoring semi to secure their return passage to the final.

RAOW, meanwhile, put out the holders 6th Form Old Boys at the last-four stage despite being two players short. It was another contest of few runs.

The final is a week tonight (Thursday, July 24) at the traditional venue - Widnes Cricket Club in Beaconsfield Road, 6pm start.
