SIAN Kelman claimed gold at the North of England Inter-Counties Track and Field Championships in Cudworth.
Having previously competed at this year's English Schools Championships, Siân's class told as she achieved a winning performance of 5.39m in the U15 girls' long jump.
She also managed fourth place in the 100m before playing her part for the Cheshire medley relay squad, who finished second with a time of 2.34.43.
Siân's efforts helped push the Cheshire U15 girls' team to second place in the champion-ships with 55 points.
Will Lowndes was a success story for West Cheshire AC as he earned two second places in the senior men's shot (15.25m) and hammer (51.33m), while Helsby High pupil Lawrence Walker completed the U17 men's 3,000m in a time of 9.14.58 to secure second place.
Andrew Whitton secured two third places in the long jump and 200m respectively, to follow up his medal success in the AAA under 15 triple jump championships.
His teammate James Callaghan also claimed third spot in the U17 men's shot put event with a best of 13.05m.
Stephanie Owens contributed for the girls, scoring 10.29m in the shot before spinning the discus to a best mark of 30.10m for a brace of third positions.
Neston High pupil Emma Leigh Heighway was third in the 1,500m U20 ladies event and
clocked a time of 4.48.50, while Nicola Gore, of Ellesmere Port, came fifth in the junior ladies discus and sixth in her shot event.
In the men's senior events John Manning produced a best leap of 6.23m for sixth spot in the long jump, with Michael Lyness spinning the U15 boys discus out to a mark of 25.81m for eighth position.
Cheshire's senior men finished fourth overall on 66 points, the U17 men's team scored 45 for seventh place, while the U15
boys were fourth on 52.
Cheshire's senior ladies finished ninth on 19 points, and the county U17 ladies team finished on 55 points in sixth spot.
