BRIAN Harkin was Hartford's star as they brushed Aston aside at Grange Park.
While Martin Hill opened with an entertaining 19 it was up to Harkin to marshall the middle and late order and put some give the total some respectability.
His 35 was vital but 166 looked on the light side until Aston got to the crease and gave several wickets away. The more determined batsmen were prised out by Josh Spruce, who collected two wickets and Harkin (4-11).
