CHESHIRE skipper Andy Hall brings his side to Chester Boughton Hall's Filkins Lane this weekend.

The county team take on Berkshire in a three-day Minor Counties Champion-ship (Western Division) clash, starting on Sunday.

Boughton Hall spinner Robin Fisher has been named in the Cheshire side, along with four players from County League champions Oulton Park - Danny Leech,

Ben Spendlove, Nathan Dumelow and Danny Jones.

With the football World Cup getting underway today, Filkins Lane officials have covered all bases by investing in a plasma screen television so spectators can mix watching live cricket with all the action from Germany!

Cheshire have made two late changes to their team.

All-rounder Jason Whit-

taker has withdrawn from the squad because of work commitments and is replaced by Bollington's Kevin Waterhouse, while Oxton's Chris Davies replaces Boughton Hall's Warren Goodwin as 12th man.

'We'll miss Jason because he's one of our most experienced and most successful players in recent seasons, but Kevin deserves his chance and I hope he rises to the occasion,' said skipper Hall.

'Berkshire are a very strong

side and we know we will have to play well to win.'

Admission is free and play begins at 11am each day, with a barbecue on Sunday. nTeam: Andy Hall (capt), Matt Dawson (wkt kpr), Nick Cantello (Bramhall); Danny Leech, Ben Spendlove, Nathan Dumelow, Danny Jones (Oulton Park); James Duffy, Tom Young (Hyde); Kevin Waterhouse (Bollington); Robin Fisher (Chester Boughton Hall). 12th man: Chris Davies (Oxton).
