THE Cheshire County League has found itself a new sponsor for 2007 - overseas property specialists the Right Move Abroad.

After a meeting between officers and representatives of the Northwich-based company, the Right Move Abroad agreed to make a cash input of £6,000 to League funds.

With headquarters at Hartford, Right Move Abroad is headed by Jeremy Casey, who is to captain Winnington Park next season. His business and cricket teams include other Winnington players Mike Johns and Stuart Hayes, and also Oulton Park and Cheshire batsman Danny Leech.

League chairman David Humpage told clubs: 'We are delighted to welcome the Right Move Abroad, a company represented in the League by some prominent cricketers. We are also pleased they have also agreed to continue the sponsorship of the performance-of-the-month awards and provide a young player-of-the-year trophy.'

* Neston, who host the Fred Graham Trophy and Plate finals at Parkgate on Sunday, August 12, are among of five clubs ruled out of the 2007 competition.

Together with Cheadle, Christleton, Congleton and Warrington, Neston withdrew from the Plate last summer and - according to the rules - cannot take part in either competition this time.

Holders Alderley Edge will visit Alsager in the first round to be completed by May 25, with Oulton Park away to Tattenhall.

All first-round losers go into the Plate, with first-round games scheduled to be played by June 15.
