THE Christleton revival continued on Saturday.

The Little Heath club, showing improved form in recent weeks, defeated visitors Bramhall by eight wickets in County League Division One.

Bramhall were ousted for 139, Iroshan de Silva 3-24 bagging and Matt Parkinson 3-41. Sri Lankan all-rounder De Silva then rattled up an unbeaten 77 and Ben Patterson 43 in the home side’s winning reply of 143-2.

OULTON PARK batted out a draw at Bollington.

A magnificent 88no from Matt Dawson steered Bollington to a total of 179 all out, after being 65-6. Guy Emmett was the stand-out Oulton Park bowler with figures of 3-44 off 15 overs.

Patrick Roberts (41) top scored in the Oulton reply, but the visitors struggled to reach the target and ended up batting out for a draw with 140-8.

Warren Goodwin returns to the Cheshire team to play his first game of the season this weekend.

The Chester Boughton Hall opener, who missed the start of the campaign with a hand injury, will take on Cornwall at Truro. The three-day Minor Counties Championship clash begins on Sunday.
