KINGSLEY got the better of an exciting draw at home to Trafford MV in Meller Braggins League Division Two.

After losing the toss, stand-in skipper Kieron Ollier accelerated his return to form in dramatic fashion with an unbeaten 82.

Together with Ben Stoddart (27) and Neil Rowlands (33), Ollier stabilised the batting after early wickets fell before leading the team to maximum batting points in the last over as Kingsley reached 183-5.

After hitting the biggest six of his career, Travis Martin continued to enjoy his salad days by claiming the first of his weekly tally (4-62) in his first over.

But Trafford MV did not roll over as they had done earlier in the season.

It took that man Martin to turn the game in Kingsley’s favour with a run out from the boundary.

Adrian Burden (3-50) and Martin quickly dismissed the tail to leave Trafford nine wickets down but the visitors then dug in to see the game out with 164-9 as they settled for a losing draw.

In Division Three BARROW drew with Langley. After Langley made 200 Barrow saw out the game finishing with 139-9.
