BUNBURY hosts a charity match between the High Sheriff's XI and The Bunburys on Sunday, June 13 to raise money for Crimebeat, DebtCred and The English Schools Cricket Association.
The Bunburys have raised more than £8 million for charity over the years and last visited Bunbury in 1995. Famous for their exuberance, cricketing skills and scant regard for the rules of the game, this celebrity team combines not only professional cricketers but also lovers of the game from the world of sport and entertainment.
Previously, The Bunburys have fielded Test stars like Ian Botham, Mark Butcher, Darren Gough, David Gower and Sir Viv Richards, footballers Gary Lineker and Ian Wright and show business celebrities Bill Wyman and Dennis Waterman
