CHESTER Boughton Hall Ladies successfully defended their Tytherington Club Cheshire Women’s League title with a commanding eight-wicket win over Oakmere.
Nicky Deane (4-9) and Katie Coppack (3-41) restricted Oakmere to 130, for whom Ruth Willis made 35. Chester then completed their task in only 19.2 overs for the loss of two wickets, Suzi Walker unbeaten on 62 and Mandy Humphreys 42no.
In Division Two, Neston remain bottom after losing to Werneth.
Neston mustered only 37ao at home to Werneth. Neston made a fist of the reply however, taking four wickets before Werneth claimed victory.
