ASTON notched an excellent win at Stalybridge St Pauls in Saturday's Division One fixture, successfully chasing 204.

Pat Beesley took 5-41 for the visitors as the home side were dismissed for a competitive target.

But A Leese (58), A Holman (53) and G Davies (47), all weighed in with vital runs to guide their side to a winning 208-3.

In Division Two, Audlem's battle against the drop continued after a nine-wicket defeat at Kingsley.

S Banks (39) and S Swallow (29) top scored in Audlem's innings of 103 as Kingsley captain K Ollier picked up five wickets.

Audlem skipper James Siddorns made an early breakthrough but Kinglsey cruised home at 104-1.

At Moss Farm, Northwich dismissed Wistaston for 162 and knocked off the runs at 168-3, with Anthony Shaw unbeaten on 93, while at Hartford, Bunbury restricted their hosts to 199-8 and made a winning reply of 202-4.
