TCS Chester Jets surrendered their 15 game unbeaten run on Sunday when they were well beaten by BBL title rivals Brighton Bears at the Northgate Arena.

It was as strangely out of sorts Jets who went down 92-75, but the writing was on the wall the previous night when they beat bottom club Birmingham Bullets by just one point (95-96) after trailing with six seconds left on the clock.

The first half was competitive against the Bears who led by one at the end of the first quarter , with Jets pulling back to lead 43-40 at half-time.

But the third quarter was disastrous for the Jets who trailed 74-59 and never looked like getting back into the game. Shawn Myers top-scored for Chester with 26 pts.
