Cheshire Phoenix could go second in the BBL table if they can win at Glasgow Rocks on Sunday (5pm) and other results go their way.

While the Phoenix can't win the title, Nix player Simeon Naydenov says their remaining five games are all about getting ready for the play-offs.

"We approach every game of the regular season as a chance to prepare well and establish great team chemistry for the play-offs, where it is win or go home," he said.

"We must stay healthy and keep improving our team play so we reach our best form at the end of April."

The Rocks have won each of their last six games to pile the pressure on fifth-placed London Lions, and Naydenov added: "Glasgow have been pretty impressive lately and we expect a hard battle and a close match.

"If we win we will secure a top-four finish which is our objective, so that's our goal. I expect an up-and-down tempo and a high-scoring match."

Rocks forward Tayo Ogedngbe said: "Our defence has improved dramatically in our recent stretch. I think that will be the key against Cheshire, they have a lot of offensive weapons we will need to contain."
