CHESTER Jets completed their recovery from their defeat in the final of the National Cup by picking up their third win in five days on Sunday night.

They crushed Scottish Rocks 120-95 with a scintillating performance which earned a standing ovation from the packed Northgate Arena crowd.

This victory followed a 95-90 win at London Towers the previous night and a win at Newcastle Eagles last Wednesday.

Jets were so dominant on Sunday that coach Robbie Peers took the unusual step of playing all his bench players in the final three minutes, giving his starting five a well-earned rest with only point guard John Thomas, of the regular six first choice starters, playing out time.

Todd Cauthorn was the Jets' top scorer with a game-high 27 points.
