CHESTER Jets ended the regular BBL season at the Northgate Arena on Sunday night with victory over London Towers and their third spot in the table gives them a home game against Scottish Rocks in the Championship Play-off quarter-finals on Saturday night (7.30).
Jets, who were pipped by just one point at Thames Valley Tigers the previous night, looked as if they were on their way to back-to-back defeats with a below-par first half display against Towers.
They trailed 26-18 at the end of the first quarter, but a late run just before the break got them back in the match at 46-47.
It was a different Jets in the second half and they stormed into an 86-71 lead at the end of the third quarter and although Towers closed the gap towards the end of the match Jets pushed it out to a final score of 106-99.
John Thomas top-scored with 26 points.
