CHESHIRE Jets welcome a famous old name back to the Northgate Arena for their opening BBL Championship game of the 2012-13 season.
The Manchester Giants have been revived and they will face their old enemy, led by coach John Lavery, on Sunday, September 23 (5.30pm).
In a packed season, the shortest month for the Cheshire Jets is also the busiest as there are seven games planned for February.
The cup tournaments have also been drawn, with the Sheffield Sharks hosting the Jets in the BBL Cup on October 12 and the BBL Trophy, which has moved to become a mid-season competition, sending the Jets to face MK Lions on December 28.
The Jets will be reunited with former captain Colin O’Reilly on October 19, when they make the trip to face his new club Plymouth Raiders.
