A DOUBLE-HEADER tomorrow and Sunday will test the Jets as they look to haul themselves away from the bottom two in the BBL Championship.

Billy Singleton's men showed they know how to win when they beat Coventry Crusaders in the BBL Trophy last weekend but were beaten in the League two days later by Plymouth Raiders.

Tomorrow they face a stern challenge in the form of league new boys London United who beat the Jets 89-87 at the Northgate Arena in October.

That was a very tight game which saw Maurice Hargrow make only his second start for the Jets following his late arrival in the BBL.

He bagged 23 points to be the game's top scorer but it wasn't enough as United put on a late burst to take the match away from the Jets.

Now Singleton takes his squad to the SPACe Centre in Hackney looking for revenge.

United coach Tony Garbelotto expects Chester to give his players a tough test.

'It will be a difficult game,' he said. 'They've recruited six players, most of whom were born in America and they rotate within that squad.'

On Sunday Jets return to the Northgate Arenas to face DMU Leicester Riders, a side they beat last month.

They picked up their second win of the campaign as they defeated Riders 83-72 thanks to 19 points from both Jaz Cowan and Maurice Hargrow.

Singleton knows that his side will face a tough test as they look to move away from the foot of the BBL table.

'They've got bunch of very good players such as Andrew Alleyne who's been in the league for eight years,' he said.

'Yorick Williams is a good player and we know all about Delme Herriman from his time with us.

'Leicester have also got two good point guards in Terrance McGee and Rob Paternostro and their squad depth means they will be difficult to beat.'
